Are Facebook Friends Real?

Does a day ever go by when you do not log into your Facebook account and peruse other people’s profiles and try to figure out what is going on in the lives of the people you are friends with? If you are like me, then there is not a day that passes without some good ol’ Facebook stalking. I guess Facebook stalking sounds pretty bad, but it really isn’t if you think about it. Stalking is bad, and I don’t condone typical stalking scenarios, but if you want to creep and look at people’s pictures what’s so bad about that? Plus, those people you look at, they made the choice to make it all available for you to see and read. I say take advantage of it because Facebook stalking is a great way to kill some time, find out how your ex is doing (not that you care), and even find out what’s going on in the lives of the people that you graduated high school with. -How many times have you sat at your desk with a pile of work that you have to finish and just stared at the floor or the ceiling? Let’s be honest with each other here, I probably only work three out of the eight hours I’m at my desk. It isn’t my fault that I can’t concentrate, and it definitely isn’t my fault that I am ADD ridden—that’s my mom’s fault. Well, no more staring at the floor, my friend! All you have to do is creep on Facebook and stalk some people. I choose people I don’t know and I like to go through all of their pictures and find out all I can about them. It’s fun and before you know it, five hours will have passed and it will be time to go home. -Another great use for Facebook stalking is seeing how miserable your ex is without you. This is my favorite because my ex is, well, he’ll just never be happy we can leave it at that. Oh and his new girlfriend, hideous! -Lastly, I like to use my Facebook stalking abilities to find out what all the losers that I graduated high school with are up to. It’s not like I really care or if I saw them in public would even say hello to them, I just want to know what’s up and make sure that their life is just as lame as mine. -If you have never Facebook stalked, then I don’t know what you’re waiting for. I mean, there’s no better time than now.
