Ideas For Your Kids Bedroom Décor
Kids these days are a picky lot. As such, the market is rife with newer and better themes for kids bedrooms. You can consider popular themes and create a Ben 10 bedroom or choose other accents for the room following ideas from Bob the builder, Barbie and all of their other favorite cartoon shows. Before you choose your kids bedroom décor, you must first ask them about what they like or don’t like. Of course, favorites will include several cartoon shows but it isn’t possible to include everything in one room. Focus on just one theme – let’s take the example of Cinderella here.
For a Cinderella bedroom, you can either paint the bedroom pristine white or pink. Pink is a favorite with girls of all ages but white is taken directly from the movie. Let’s work with pink because it will get more votes from everyone. Paint the room in a bright shade of pink. Include shabby chic furniture in distressed white. This could be old furniture that has been sandpapered and painted white.
If the room is large, get a custom made faux pumpkin carriage or a happily ever after castle – this can also double as a playhouse! For something more budget friendly, you can get small figurines that are available in almost every store and place them all around the room.
Don’t forget to get glass slippers – they are the essence of Cinderella. Don’t get them in real glass though because glass is very breakable. Instead, get something in hard shell plastic, preferably ones that fit your daughter. You can also get her a tiara and a gown!
Remember to include only child friendly toys and figures. You can also include feather boas in pink or white. There are limitless options in kids bedroom decor, just remember to be creative! You can also hire a professional to do wall art or even to redecorate the entire room if you’re feeling the need to splurge!
