Paintball Gun Kits are Perfect for Beginners

Paintball gun kits come with everything you need to get started in the hobby of sports paintball. You will typically find one gun, a tank of compressed air, sometimes two, a hopper, and a set of paintballs. The hopper is what feeds the paintballs to your gun. It will have a full set of instructions, and perhaps a DVD to help you get going. These kits start as low as forty dollars.

For a beginner, these kits are ideal starter sets, and they make great gifts. Many have chosen to start small and grow a collection of paintball guns and various equipment, such as armor guards and padding, face shields and helmets, and more. There’s no better way to start than with one of these beginner kits. Target practice can include anything from trees to cardboard cut outs to empty cans of soda. If you have a friend who is more experience than you at the game of paintball, ask him to teach you a few tricks. Safety is something that should always be on your mind as you begin to play, because real people are going to be involved once you start playing for real with teams of individuals scoring points against each other.

As far as safety is concerned, you’re probably going to be okay. Remember to never shoot at someone’s hands or face, and keep a reasonable distance from the person you are shooting at. Paintballs are made with non toxic colors and oils, and are designed to burst on contact. They come in all colors, so mix and match, and decide which colors you like best. Some people split up teams according to the color of paintballs used in the game, which is a good way to tell your teammates from your opponents. Paintball is a great athletic hobby for those old enough to play responsibly. Get some great kits like Proto Matrix Rail paintball gun or Kingman Spyder Pilot.
