If you don’t mind dealing with some initial installation hassles, a CCTV will be more secure and reliable over the long term.  You won’t have to worry about noise from other appliances or the weather as you do with wireless cameras, making them more reliable.  They’re also more secure, as anyone nearby can see your wireless signal if you don’t put the proper encryption on it.
