Baby rompers are an essential piece of clothing, especially after your baby passes the newborn stage.  There are many different kinds, sizes, styles and brand names to choose from.  Some are for winter while others are for summer.  You can also get ones that are warm but not too warm, that are suitable for both spring and fall.

When it comes to buying baby clothes, or any clothes for that matter, it is often much better to go to the store and take baby with you than it is to buy baby clothes online. While online retailers often offer great deals and better prices than many regular stores do, it is often very hard if not impossible to tell, just by looking at a snapshot, whether the romper will fit your little one.  While baby clothes do have sizes, just because something is for nine or twelve month olds, for example, this does not mean it will automatically fit your baby when he or she is that age.  All babies are different and some babies need larger or smaller clothes.

Buy rompers that are easy to put on and take off again. Many babies do not like to get dressed and undressed; you can make this a lot easier for both you and your little one by not purchasing harder to put on and take off items of clothing.  Also, choose materials and styles that are easy to wash and dry.

While you can easily buy rompers new and there are shops and supermarkets that offer good deals, buying baby clothes second hand is another viable option that you should consider.  Often baby clothes sold second hand are in very good condition as babies grow quite fast and do not have time to put a lot of wear and tear on clothes before the clothing item is too small for them.  The smaller the romper, the more likely it is to be in good condition.  You can find baby clothes for sale second hand by checking out craigslist and your newspapers’ classifieds.  Garage sales and flea markets are another good place to look for second hand baby clothes and rompers.
